Turn the Flag around the other way. Union Jack (blue field of stars) goes to the left of the largest viewing audience when hanging vertical. BTW- it also goes toward direction of movement. This is why it's "backwards" of the right side of US aircraft.
Is that why the flag is backwards!!!!! I wondered for years cause I would see it backwards on military uniforms. I asked a buddy why it was backwards and he didn't know. He was a Marine and they don't have flags on their uniforms. The Army does. I didn't know any Army guys to ask. Thanks for solving the mystery to the backwards flag.
