Working on a few new updates on the JoMo Racing website. Check out the site if you haven't already. www.jomoracing.com. Stay tuned for the upcoming offers they got coming your way.
Shaun Miller from Thailand is getting together his motorcycle and is almost done. He said he needs to change a few things but I told him to send me pics because he is the one that Pac Man did that incredible pin striping job on the tank and fender. Here are some pics of the bike.
Drove out to Murietta yesterday morning to meet up with Mike. Shot his Panhead for a upcoming article in Greasy Kulture. Keep your eyes peeled for more pics when the mag comes out.
Drove down to Ventura with my daughter to check out the David Mann show. The weather was good and thankfully no rain. Good to see old and new friends at the show.
For little over a year now I have been working with Denver Dan, Brandon Holstein and Scott Parker on their JoMo Racing project. I finished the website and it just went live last night. Check out the bikes I also shot for them over the course of a year. Brandon has put a lot of time, sweat and tears into these things. All you guys with Triumphs support them and buy some stuff online. Go to www.jomoracing.com.
Greg Browning's surfboard just made a cameo on Alex Gray's "First Hand" segment that premiered tonight on Fuel TV. That's Scott Daley, my boss and VP of Marketing at Body Glove positioning it for maximum tv exposure!
The 40 year swell is on. Keep your eye on the North Shore Monday thru Wednesday. Large enough that the Eddie could be on. Last time they ran the Eddie was in 2004 with Bruce Irons winning it. Pretty amazing to see in person. Bummed I'm not there right now to check it out.
Out today up in Palos Verdes shooting one of Paul Whitehurst' Knucklehead and we had the Po-Po pull up and start asking questions. He was driving by, put on the brakes, threw it in reverse and came out to talk to us. Thought it was going to be another one of those pack up your shit and leave deals. Ended up he stopped cause he wanted to check out the bikes. He did mentioned that we weren't supposed to be shooting there, but didn't do anything about it. Paul b.s.'d with him for awhile and it was back to work.
A few months back, Greg Browning got a new surfboard from Cheyne Magnusson. Greg had asked me to draw something on it so when I felt inspired and not lazy I grabbed his board and cranked something out.
Here is the finished product. A few weeks back when there was a swell out there Greg paddled out to Burnouts in Torrance and caught a few waves. Then he decided to go on this one.
Been busy the last few days. Shooting an assignment for future Greasy Kulture editorial. My subject was Paul Whitehurst. Those of you who don't know him will soon in the next few issues of GK. Paul has an amazing motorcycle collection and I shot 4 of his bikes. Panheads, Knuckleheads, Shovelheads and Flatheads. You name it, Paul probably has it.
