Triumph Photoshoot Weekend

A few outtakes from this weekends photoshoots.  Started out with Ryan Mullion and his 68 Triumph at the Tiger Shack.  Todd Asin from Small City Cycles Born Free Pre Unit build is in town.  So with the help of friends I was able to get in contact with Todd and shoot the bike before it left back to Idaho.  The last shoot this Sunday morning was down in Beverly Hills.  Shot with Craig Griffith and a couple of Triumphs that he has built.

Making Custom Signage For Tradeshow

Spent the last week building tradeshow signage for a tradeshow on the east coast that needed to be done by Friday and loaded on the trucks for transportation.
Given a small budget I had Matt Chernega of Nexus Metalworks cut out my custom lettering I did out of aluminum.

The finished cut pieces.

Primered each set to prepare for paint.

I strolled the isles of Home Depot looking for wood to build my frames but since the letters took a big chunk out of my budget I had to find a cheaper solution.  Wood pallets are free so I grabbed a few at our warehouse and cut them apart.

Cut and shaved down to decrease the weight.

Letter fitment and then paint.

A few rattle can spray paint touches and they are done and drying.

Finished piece and getting delivered tomorrow.

Custom Frames Project

My good friend Panhead Jeff from Vegas wanted some photos I shot of his bike framed so he could put them in his house.  This gave me the opportunity to explore some ideas I had for framing and way different how I have been doing them in the past.  Thanks to Casey Johnson for the inspiration.

Matt Chernega 2000 Chevy Silverado

One of the great things of working for Body Glove is I get to work with great people.  Matt Chernega is our team manager and organizes our tradeshow booth for shows in the US.  Matt also builds off road vehicles and runs his own fabrication company called Nexus in El Segundo.  This 2000 Chevy is his daily driver that he modified but he also has a crazy Toyota off road vehicle that he runs out in the desert for racing only.
