LA Kings and Ilya Kovalchuk

Apparently Ilya Kovalchuk is coming down to LA to visit. Now why would he come down to visit with the LA Kings when last report was the Kings were out of the race to sign him?

Mark. I call b.s. on Lombardi. You just don't come for a visit with the GM of a team that has been interested in signing you to a multi- million dollar contract. I say it is a done deal and they need his left or right hand to sign on that contract along with his agent Grossman.
