The "Other" Mike D

A few months back I drove out to Murietta Ca to shoot with Mike D. I was put in contact with him from Guy at Greasy Kulture magazine. It was a early Saturday morning so it was a easy drive up the 91 to the 15 fwy. Coming down Mike's street there were a few really cool places to shoot and we ended up at this half torn down building. So we set up there and I got my shots. He rode the bike up and down the street a couple times and I was done. Super easy. Thank you Mike for that day. It was a pleasure to meet you. If you haven't already checked it out go get your copy of Greasy Kulture Magazine Issue 14. The article on Mike is in the back and was even written by him. Here are some more shots that were not in the mag.

Alan Braff Triumph

Made a trip out to Oxnard on Saturday to go shoot Alan Braff's Triumph. Alan lives just footsteps away from the beach and has an amazing and unique house. Spent the later part of the day going from a few different spots to shoot his Triumph. Look for more pics coming up in a future issue of GKM.

Paul Whitehurst Panhead

I shot Paul's Panhead and a few other bikes of his late last year for Guy over at Greasy Kulture Magazine. Guy asked me if I was interested in shooting Paul's bikes and I told him I was. So I gave Paul a call and turns out he lives about 10 minutes away from where I work. Which worked out perfect because I just took off from the office and headed out to his place. So after the shock of seeing all the goodies he has tucked away we got to talking about what he did. Turns out he's good friends with the owner of my company and used to work at our retail store years ago. I then started to remember a guy coming over to our office several years ago on a clean black Knucklehead. That was Paul. Super nice guy. Hope you enjoy his bikes that I shot in upcoming issues of Greasy Kulture Magazine. Here's the Panhead in the newest issue. We shot this up in Palos Verdes over looking Santa Monica and Malibu.

Greasy Kulture was also recently featured in Japan's VIBES magazine and has a few pages from recent shoots with John Edwards and Mike Davis that I shot in that issue.

Currently submitting photos for JoMo Racing to GQ Italy magazine for a feature they plan to run on the guys. Also, Hell for Leather Magazine will be doing a feature on the JoMo Racing motorcycles. Keep your eyes out for it.

Panhead Johnny Edwards

A couple of months ago Guy from Greasy Kulture magazine asked about my shots that I did of John Edwards 52 Panhead. I told him that if I sent him shots of the bike that I wanted to send in some new ones instead. So I called John and he told me no problem and that he actually changed a few things on it since I last saw it. So that worked out perfect. John's bike has gotten a lot of editorial coverage already, but Guy will be the first with the changes made to the bike. Keep a look out for the Greasy Kulture #12.
